Here are some caricatures that I did for my friend Sarah's 30th birthday. Her boyfriend presented them to her as a booklet, along with the menu of the restaurant where we had her surprise birthday meal. A great night had by all and everyone had a good laugh at the pics!

Pink Pig Farm
The Pink Pig Farm in North Lincolnshire were over the moon with their new branding. The guys at D4 in Sheffield commissioned an illustration of a spotted pig from me and using my drawing and their outstanding branding skills they produced a fabulous new identity for the family run farm. Work is well under way on their new website so watch this space for more piggy action!

Fancie Website
I recently designed the new website for Fancie cupcakes in Sheffield. If you haven't visited their shop on Sharrow Vale Road, you haven't lived!! The beautifully decorated cupcakes, arranged temptingly on vintage cake stands and pretty 'nannan' china are by far the most delicious I have ever tasted! Obviously I need to sample plenty for research! I wanted to design a site that would exude their charm and vintage style, whilst presenting a professional and corporate image. We love it and so did the lovely Amanda Perry, founder of Fancie. I've worked withFancie previously on some exclusive prints and greetings cards which are available in store, so pop in to check them out and enjoy a nice cup of tea and a tasty treat!

Twilight - New Moon
Ok, so I know it's a teen film, based on a series of novels aimed at teenagers, but I recently read the Twilight Saga and decided to do an illustration of the three main characters for New Moon, the next film to be released in November. There's tons of Twilight themed artwork out there so I may as well join in! Although I only had the promotional photos for the film to work from, I loved working on the contours of their faces and creating an atmosphere with the compilation and slightly cheesy background/foreground details.

This was an illustration I did for a book idea, based on a shy pig who was very self conscious about her appearance. She had always dreamed of being a ballerina on the stage but was always too embarrassed about her rotund physic. Despite the teasing of a particularly nasty poodle, piggy overcame her lack of confidence and became an elegant piggy ballet dancer.

Jack & the Jackal
I wrote the following poem many years ago and I decided to re-work the illustrations a couple of years back when I was being mentored by Lynne Chapman, (the children's book author and illustrator who illustrated Giddy the Great.) The sketches show the transition that the drawings went through to get to the finished illustrations.
